Meet Diesel – A Gentle Soul Looking for Love Diesel got his name from the gas station in Barinas where he was found at the end of July. He had been there for a few days, quietly waiting – as if hoping someone would notice his kind eyes and gentle heart. Between 1.5 and 2 years old, Diesel is the definition of calm. He’s incredibly good-natured, gentle, and easygoing – the kind of dog who brings peace just by being near. He gets along well with other dogs – we recently took him out with Bert, and Diesel didn’t react at all. Just calm, relaxed, and friendly. He’s currently in the cat area and adjusting just fine. Diesel doesn’t like dry food much – he’s a bit picky, but polite about it. Mostly, he just sits quietly, observing the world around him. His favorite thing? Following the shelter manager’s husband around like a loyal shadow. He bonds quickly and deeply. Diesel would thrive in a calm home, with someone who appreciates his quiet presence and loving nature. He doesn’t ask for much – just a soft place to rest, a bit of company, and a heart that’s ready to love him back
